Boy is being sick ever a drag. Here's what I think I will do the next time I feel run down and sore-throaty and fluey: STOP ALL ACTIVITY. GET INTO BED. DO NOT GO TO WORK. DO NOT EVEN GO TO PFIZER FANTASIA. DO NOT GO SEE THE RUSSIAN BALLET PERFORM THE NUTCRACKER. JUST HUNKER DOWN, DRINK TEA AND FORGET THAT THE REST OF THE WORLD EXISTS. Because if you try to do all those other things anyway, you will only prolong the illness.
Being sick has been a double drag because I have not seen my beautiful brumby in forever. Bill reminds me that this November we have had the most friendly and beautiful weather than we have had in years. I am lucky that even though I have not seen Lilly, that she is living the good life, getting high-quality hay, roaming around at her will, and being watched over by others who love her. Thanks, Bill, You are more appreciated than you will ever know.
Here's how I know Lilly thrives while I am in Sick Bay. Bill took these photos and sent them to me in an email. This first one I find particularly adorable.

I'll bet Brumby doesn't care that you're sick (horses can be really mean that way!), but I'll bet she enjoys it when you're back on the trail - feel better soon!
I must have said this a thousand times already, but we wish we had a Bill here! He is so great to take care of your Brumby AND take photos too! I dream one day of turning the boys out to pasture 24/7 like your Lilly. Then when I have the flu I won't have stalls to clean! Probably just a dream! Have fun riding tomorrow. I love the photo of her "talking" to her buddies. It looks like someone just captured a horsey "coffee talk".
So glad you are feeling better, and get to finally go out to see your Brumby!! I bet she will be excited to see you! Bill is one great guy! I love how he sends you pictures of your Lilly!
I keep meaning to tell you, that we have a Lilly at the barn that looks so much like yours, but she is half Arab! She is one of my favorites!
That is so nice of Bill! I am sure your Brumby is content to take a little vaca while her mommy is resting up. Did you have the H1n1?? Do take care and get better soon! That is what I do, I take a sick day and fight it off, rather then infecting everyone else at my work.
By the way, after your wet summer, you guys deserve a dry winter! ;)
Your brumby is so clean. I'm impressed.
I am very much interested in gathering information about horse and related products. On internet i use ad sites like Free horse classifieds.
