Road Trip

Monday, July 15, 2013

Before visiting Juliette and her family of people and horses, we did a little touring of Brandon's original neighborhood. Let's hear it for the rolling hills of Pennsylvania!

Including his boyhood home where his mom still lives!

And since we were so close....

We headed to Washington.

We made sure we had our traveling staples of beefsticks (all natural) and gummie bears in the car.

We checked out some historical locations...

Investigated every nook and cranny of the Natural History Museum....

Got silly on the steps of the National History Museum....

Clowned around in the shadow of the capital building....

Caught a bicycle taxi to the Lincoln Memorial.....

Which is very impressive indeed.

Of course all this sightseeing,

...calls for some reflecting.

But it is always nice to be back home.
