What is the mystery? It is this: Will the clouds will go away in time for the weekend so that there will be some decent riding time? The skies look bright enough in these mid-week photos, but it was still raining on Wednesday.
Do you see that purple box in the tree? That is a pest monitoring device for the emerald ash borer. Looks like UMass is trying to figure out what that little bug is up to. These purple boxes are all over western Mass.
The drizzling, dark skies do not seem to bother Getty.
